The University of Michigan Nichols Arboretum locally called the Nichols Arb, is a beautiful arboreal garden located in the east side of the central campus at 1610 Washington Terrace in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Located off the Central Campus, this arboretum runs along the south side of Ann Arbor’s Ann Arbor-Ypsilanti Community College and is close to several university buildings including the Ann Arbor Campus. Located on the northeast side of the Central Campus, it runs between the campus roadways of Michigan Avenue and University Drive. It contains a small park area in the southeast corner, which serves as an overlook for the arboreal garden and offers a lovely vista for a long drive to the Ann Arbor-Ypsilanti Community College. In addition to this, there are also a few benches and some small trees located around the corner to provide shade from the bright sun.
