Functional Strength Class
Our Functional Strength classes allow you to train in a fun, non-competitive environment. We use our training system to ensure your program is challenging and appropriate for your level. Injury prevention is our number 1 goal, so your program will be designed to include movements that are challenging, but that you can also execute well. Form and control of your movements are the key to reducing training injuries. Once you command a particular strength movement, we progress you to a more challenging and more beneficial movement. Many of our adult athletes who have come in with nagging knee, shoulder, or low back pain have found after a few days or weeks of training, their symptoms have been reduced or alleviated completely. This is because of our commitment to tissue care, appropriate mobility, and functional strength through a range of motion.
If you have a child that trains on the skating treadmill, synthetic ice, or in an Advantage Strength program, take the opportunity to use that time to do some training for yourself! You have a chance to improve your strength and athleticism while your child improves theirs. Our Small Group Training classes will keep you healthy, strong, and ready to take on whatever physical challenge comes your way.
30-Minute Circuit Strength Class
Our 30-Minute Circuit Strength class uses the same quality movements we use to create our functional strength programs, but we weave them together in a challenging new format that will improve conditioning and whole body strength so you can play longer. These circuits will include movements from traditional weightlifting, our Functional Strength programs, and our Primal Strength class all combined together to get your heart rate up and keep you moving well.
Since the class is only 30 minutes, it’s easy to come in, work hard, and be done by the time the kids are done with practice. Make progress on your conditioning or weight loss goals with the convenience of saving 30 minutes over our standard 1-hour sessions. You get to take steps forward while you get your time back.
Primal Strength Class
Our Primal Strength class uses natural human movement to build strength, increase mobility, and improve conditioning. By mindfully practicing movement skills that are often lost and forgotten in today’s modern exercise culture, we will help you move more efficiently so you can navigate your environment with ease, whether it be urban or wild. We will practice skills like crawling, walking, running, squatting, jumping, climbing, balancing, lifting and carrying, movements that used to be fundamental to human existence, then perform those movements in a circuit that is a unique combination of movement skill training and conditioning.
Primal Strength is part yoga, part parkour, part martial art, and all practical. You will learn to move your body like it was meant to be moved so you can alleviate pain, build strength, and enjoy the body you were intended to have.

This is your opportunity to have one of our strength coaches all to yourself for the entire training session. We get the best chance to personalize your workout and address your most pressing needs. 1 on 1 personal training is for you if you have tried training on your own without much success.
